• Does this product also have a voice recorder too? The product has a microphone however the subject will have to be near the device to record sound clearly.

• How do you record video with the device? Press the on/off button for about 3 seconds, till the yellow LED light appears, so the item is turned on. Then press the record button for about 3 seconds, the yellow LED will flash 3 times then stop. This means the device is recording video now.and has entered recording mode. Press the record button again, the yellow LED light will appear again and the device will stop recording video and save the file.

• How do you take still photographs with the device? Turn on the device, the yellow LED will appear and be solid (not flash). Just press the record button once, the yellow LED will flash once to show that it has taken a photo. The image will be saved automatically. The yellow LED will flash once every time it takes one photo.

• How do you set the time of video and images taken with the device? Create a new Txt file on your computer named “SetTime”. Open the file, input the date and time in the following format: year , month, day, hours, minutes and seconds format (for example : 2009.05.18 18:28:23). Then save the text file, connect the device via USB and copy the text file to the root catalog of the device then disconnect the device. Then turn on the device again to record a video as usual; connect to the computer again and you will find the date and time have been changed to the one you had set. If this method does not work, please try formatting the device first, and then repeat the previous steps.

• Can I record video in dark areas or at night with this camera?
  This camera can record in areas with low light, but there should be at least some illumination present in order to capture satisfactory quality video.
• How far away can I be from a conversation and still record the audio?
  The best distance for audio recording is 1-2 meters, with 3 meters being the max.
• How do I set the time and date on the unit?
  Simply connect the device to you computer via USB and make sure the device is turned ON. Then create a text file called Time.txt and put it into root drive of the spy device. Time and date format should be in this format: 2009-10-15 09:06:00 When you are finished turn the device OFF and then back ON and you will now have the correct time and date.
• How do I operate this unit?
  There are two switches on the unit. One is for Power ON and OFF. Set the switch to ON. Furthermore, press the top button (the other two are fake buttons) briefly once to get the camera ready. Press the same button briefly to take a photo. Press the same button and hold to begin shooting videos. Press the same briefly to stop video shoot.
• How do I retrieve the photos and videos I've created?
  Attach the unit to your PC computer using the USB cable. A folder will appear inside of which are the photos and videos you've created.
• Can I really use the key in my car?
  We haven't tried it, but it looks like it can be cut and fit VW type cars.

A new and extremely compact live GPS/GPRS tracker for both the domestic and professional surveillance market. This simple, light, low cost, but effective unit makes short-term live tracking more accessible and affordable. Battery life is 80hrs on standby!

Keep track of the more important things in life! Do you wish to find out where your loved ones are and where they are really going? Do you want to track an asset or even your luggage? Do you want to ensure the safety of your child by tracking their location?

Tracking is easy. First it is advisable to download Google Maps onto your mobile phone. Then simply dial the number of the Sim card within the unit and within about ten seconds, you will receive a set of coordinates by text to your mobile phone. Copy and paste these coordinates into Google Maps and you will then see a 'real time' location of your tracking unit. Alternatively, enter the coordinates into Google maps on your PC to see the location.

If you so wish, you will be able to utilise the coordinates given to find the location on Google Earth.

There are no subscription charges as the unit will operate with a pay-as-you-go Sim card, so the only costs associated will be for SMS and WAP connection when a request for location is made and actioned upon. The internal battery will last up to 2 days dependant upon numerous variables including frequency of location requests.

The unit comes complete with TWO rechargeable batteries and a dedicated charging unit, so unlike similar trackers on the market you do not need to remove the tracker for charging purposes. Perfect for static and security applications as there is no usage down-time,

• How do I make sense of the longitude and latitude data this unit provides?
  Both Google Maps and Google Earth can easily translate the data into usable visual information.
• How long does it take to recharge the battery for this unit?
  First use requires 8 - 12 hours charging time, while subsequent usage only needs 3-5 hours of recharging time.
• The unit does not pick up a GSM signal and the SMS functions aren't working, what's wrong?
  A number of things could cause this to happen:
  1) Make sure the SIM card is compatible (only 2G, 2.5G, 2.75G SIM cards work)
  2) Make sure there is money left on the SIM card and that it has not expired
  3) Make sure there is no PIN code associated with the SIM card
  4) Make sure roaming is enabled on your SIM account if you are in a different country
• Can I install the software on multiple computers?
  No. Each tracker’s IMEI number is unique and can only be used to setup the software on one computer once and ONLY ONCE, which means you can only use the software on that computer exclusively after successfully set it up. This is due to the security requirements of the software and the product.
